I am currently in law school and had an epiphany that I want to pursue a career in public relations. I don’t have any experience in PR, but I know that is the industry I want to be in when I graduate. What kind of job could I get in this field while still using my law degree? I am most interested in crisis management. What should I be doing to break into this industry? Fyi..I am in NY

I am currently a journalism student. I’ve been in college for a year-and-a-half now. During high school I went to a career tech school (Boces, for those of you from New York) for two years and studied criminal justice. I’m just wondering what, in your opinion, is the better career field as far as pay, schedule, benefits, etc.

Thanks!

I’m an undergraduate studying political science and communications with a concentration in public relations. I’ve got loans to pay off and I’ve always wanted to go to law school but I really love what I’m doing with public relations and think that I would be good at it. For someone who graduates with degrees in political science and communications and then goes to law school (but works in between to pay off undergrad loans), are there any lucrative or specialized jobs that could utilize a traditional law degree AND public relations expertise?

Or am I better off just picking and choosing between one or the other? I’m kind of confused and I’m trying to plan my future so that my education will let me accomplish my goals of getting a good job. Thanks to anyone in advance for helping me with my question.

I’m thinking of going for the public relations manager for our daughters gym and I was just wondering before I go and try to do this job what are some of the duties that I would need to do.

I am looking to change my career and would like to know where to go first to pursue a position like this one.

I live in Texas, and want to pay an annual retainer fee so that I can just pick up the phone and call my lawyer if I have any legal questions, etc. What type of lawyer deals with Public Relations and Marketing?
