I think it’s the one that sells us security=McCain. As if this man, whose only solution to every challenge is force, force and more force, is actually capable of bringing any security and stability to anyone. This advertising campaign seems to be a real success at the moment.

Isn’t it obvious that his aggressive policies will bring nothing but more insecurity to this country and the world in general, while at the same time depriving us of all the resources that we desperately need for education, health, jobs and to handle the horrible economic situation brought about by the previous wars?

This very successful public relations campaign has programmed us to respond automatically when we hear the words security and protection to think of McCain. And most of us seem to swallow it without second thought. And the other candidates seem too afraid to speak in a way that is different from this horrible mindset.

Did anyone ever stop to ask what is real security? How does it come about and why have come to the state that we are living in fear and insecurity and willing to give everything to the man who promises to protect us?

Do you live in security by using the most powerful and sophisticated tools of death to scare the hell out anyone that doesn’t think like you. Does security mean terrorizing others, occupying them, killing and stripping them of their most basic rights as humans and so creating great security for yourself?
Does real security means threatening others? Please think about it for a while. Is that real security, scaring others into submission?
That is his plan, do you understand that, people of America? He believes that killing, bombing, torturing and mutilating others is the only way and that will bring security to Americans? That is such an insane and twisted mindset that I don’t know if to laugh or cry.

Of course you won’t hear those words in the current well-crafted advertising campaign around him, but if you look at what this man is saying through the years, you’ll see that that is what he believes in.

If you’re trying to achieve your particular personal (or national) security by oppressing others, torturing, killing and scaring them into submission you are only inviting insecurity for yourself and for the rest of the world because the result of your actions and this force will inevitably be directed against you sooner or later. The fear and animosity that you generate in others will inevitably turn into **** and actions against you. This seems so obvious, isn’t it? Yet most people still believe this man when he says “I know how to handle them Iranians, ladies and gentleman…” and wants to bomb the life out of them as if that will bring us security.

What is real security? Please think about it for a minute. isn’t it living in a world where people don’t **** each other and want to hurt each other, don’t suppress and occupy other people, don’t hold people at gunpoint at their bedroom because they happen to be born at the wrong place?
Doesn’t real security mean a world were people are not afraid and are free to pursue what really interests them in life without fear and suppression. Please don’t immediately jump and say that this is not the real world. Of course it isn’t. The real world is what we create. We have created this mess that we live in with our own ignorant and vicious actions, and we are the only ones that can start fixing it. You don’t bring real security by bombing the life out of everything that isn’t American. You must have real care for other human beings and for the planet as a whole. This guy will turn this whole planet into a huge graveyard in pursuit of his security. He thinks that using force (not himself personally, of course, he will draft you to do the fighting) is the only solution. Isn’t it obvious that such an approach will only bring more insecurity, misery and pain to a world that is already in deep suffering.
Do you really want to give him power to do that? is that really what you wish for the world? I beg you to consider this before making such an important decision.

Bless you

please watch who this guy really is:

Did the court system and jury use this trial to punish him for past trials that he walked away from after winning the cases?

Is anyone else here tired of the Goldman family using the media as a public relations firm for badmouthing OJ? Everytime he is somewhere, they are standing right behind him, squawking like a jaybird.
For those of you that say he murdered the two, were you there when it happened, or just going on what you feel?

Do u work mornings? Evenings?
What kind of hours are most PRS required to put in daily?
Im 17 and Im an aspiring actor but I want to go to college and get a communications degree. After college, I want to pursue movie acting but I need to know this info so I can go to acting classes and work a job at the same time so I can get an income. Please answer.

1. We asked Pres Bush for official recognition in order to obtain Secret Service and US Attorney General protection. Not knowing the laws, we cited the Vienna Convention to protect our good name from citizen lawsuits and other things (bodily harm, beatings, and assassination attempts, which occurred) and made our written request. HIM Yao Sui, China’s Emperor, was the Chief Negotiator of our firm (management and public relations firm) who negotiated Saddam’s withdrawal. We notified Bush in 1990 and he, his son, and their administration has since REFUSED contact with us. We have no money and can do nothing. Any suggestions?

2. We complained about harassment by the US Dept of ED’s private collection agent. Bush and Secretary Spellings REFUSED to dismiss these unethical and untrustworthy people who are, as far as we can see, trying to use legal means to defraud our good name on Bush’s behalf. What can we do?

You may e-mail us to communicate privately and confidentially.

Breach of contract?
Posted by admin in Law & Ethics on 09 16th, 2009| icon31 Comment »

Our company contracts with an outside public relations firm to handle our publicity. We originally signed on with the company in October, and even though it was written in the contract that the PR firm would write all of our media releases, I took it upon myself to do that (I’m the marketing assistant for our company).

Well, we recently renewed our contract with the same PR company, and just like the original contract, it is still written that the PR firm will handle all of our writing for us. I’ve recently taken on additional responsibilities within my company and am no longer able to do all the writing of press.

When I told the owner of the PR firm this, she basically threw a tantrum. “You’ve been doing it all along! What’s new!?” and yadda yadda yadda. Now she’s trying to say we’re going to have to pay her more for HER to do the writing, even though she included in the contract that SHE drafted as her firm’s responsibility.

Is this a breach? What do you all think I should do?

Just curious what response I get out here…
I work in an entry level position at a small but prestigious public relations firm in my hometown. One of the older higher ups (50ish) has been known to get a kick out of hitting on associates waaaaay younger than he is. He always said stuff to me but nothing too graphic so I let it slide. However, it escalated last week. Here are some details: We have so called “huddle rooms” at work that are basically small rooms with a desk designed for small group discussions or meetings. We were both early for a meeting in one of the huddle rooms when he made a move. He told me that I should wear skirts more often and then copped a quick feel of my legs. Nothing drastic but touching is touching. I brought it up informally with coworkers but most just laugh it off. So I go the legal formal route or should I just go vigilante and slap the old dude next time? I don’t want to drag this out in office rumors but a slap would do the job I think.

I have been told several times i would be good in public relations because im good with people and all that. ive heard several different definitions but can someone explain it flat out and simple. also would have i to go to a business school to study business AND public relations SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN IM SO CONFUSED
good business

I am doing a research paper for my Communications class and I was just interested in some cases or issues with major companies that I may not be thinking of in which they had to use PR to “fix themselves”.

For example: Firestone tires blowing up, McDonalds being outed by the documentary “Super Size Me.”

Thanks!

What is the difference between Public Relations Specialists and Public Relations Managers? Other then the fact that the Public Relations Specialists is a hot job and that the Public Relations Managers get paid way more. You see I’m looking into careers and what classes I should take, etc. and I don’t really know the diferences. Can anyone help?

I am kind of lost please help me. If interviews serve a public relations role, what should Nike be concerned about
public relations
