Palin is being accused of abusing her power by influencing someone to fire another, yet there is no proof.
Obama on the other hand has various associations with terrorist individuals and scandalous cronies – yet we don’t hear about that.
Whats wrong with today’s media? If it is true that Palin influenced someone to fire someone else, how can that be worse than someone associating with terrorist and evil individuals who put our country at risk?

August 2nd, 2010 at 12:19 am
it is worse to lie about someone and say they are friends with terrorist, by playing the guilt by association game
August 3rd, 2010 at 6:09 pm
The worst thing would be terrorist relations. Firing someone who’s not fit to handle their job is fine.
August 5th, 2010 at 7:37 am
Terrorist relations for 100 points, Alex!
August 6th, 2010 at 8:48 pm
Palin actually was found guilty. Obama does not have ‘associations with terrorists’. Your beliefs don’t add up to the facts. McCain is connected to and has funded the Contras, the Kosovo Liberation Army, who in turn funded Al qeida (ALL terrorist Orgs)….I suggest you look it up.
August 8th, 2010 at 2:10 pm
Look up Oleg Deripaska.
August 10th, 2010 at 1:10 pm
Your mean Palin and McCain’s ties to home grow terrorist.
Palin’s ties to a group that damns Americans and has guns in their yards to kill Americans and she give these people jobs in the Government under her.
McCain’s ties to Ayers, and the group that hates Jew’s, and two women that kill Dr’s at a hospital.
August 12th, 2010 at 11:06 pm
Having terrorist relations like Terrorist / Traitor Barack Hussein Obama.
August 15th, 2010 at 7:23 am
Having terrorist relations moron! Except in Obama’s case it’s Terrorists Associates and co-workers.
August 17th, 2010 at 10:17 am
I am afraid that sitting in a meeting with someone who committed a crime you had nothing to do with won’t get you prosecuted. I would be worried if you became a judge one day. I can’t imagine how many people would go to jail for talking to someone who committed a crime.
August 19th, 2010 at 8:32 pm
Being in the same room does not qualify as having various associations with terrorist individuals and scandalous cronies. Abusing official power for personal reasons is a real scandal.
August 20th, 2010 at 9:55 pm
Give me a break. Can’t you read? Obama is not friends with any of those people. What about McCain and Keating? That was an actual devastation in this country.
Quit watching Fox and read something productive on your own. You may actually learn something.
August 23rd, 2010 at 3:52 pm
I find abusing your power worse. She abused her power entrusted to her by the people of Alaska. Imagine what she’d do if she were VP.
August 25th, 2010 at 1:42 am
Hmm.
When Ayers did those things, Obama was 8 and playing with Tonka trucks.
When Palin abused her power, she was an adult…..
Poor GOP…sliding down in the polls and electoral map anyway….
August 28th, 2010 at 1:36 pm
There is no way I am voting for that idiot (Palin).
Seriously, are you a drunken pirate? Aughh people are so brainwashed and believe everything republican party carries on. It’s just SAD to see these people fall in this trap again like how they did with bush!
August 31st, 2010 at 9:04 pm
Palin’s issue-Fact
The Obama accusations-Fiction.
There is your difference.
September 1st, 2010 at 12:04 pm
terrorist influence is much worse.
the guy that got fired was caught doing bad things. Illegal moose killing and he tazered his 10 year old.
September 4th, 2010 at 4:34 pm
Let’s look into the ‘relations’ that both John McCain and Sarah Palin have …
Why do McCain and Palin associate themselves with less than desirable people (terrorists?)
John McCain:
Keating 5/Charles Keating
Rick Davis
Larry Pratt
G. Gordon Liddy
Rod Parsley
John Hagee
Oregon Citizens Alliance
Marylin Shannon
US Council for World Freedom
Sarah Palin:
Alaska Independence Party
Joe Vogler
‘Trooper-Gate’

I am worried that people are so influenced by the media. I have a real problem with the stupidity in America. People can’t seem to understand the difference and just discount the other for the other.
Go to FACTCHECK.ORG and start reading.
September 6th, 2010 at 5:39 pm
Do you mean Palin’s relationship with the Alaska Independence Party (secessionists=domestic terrorists)? Yeah, Palin certainly has two strikes against her, there!
September 8th, 2010 at 12:20 am
Palin has done both. She’s married someone who was a member of the Alaska Independence Party, who advocates the overthrow of the US Government in Alaska.
September 9th, 2010 at 5:14 am
How can you say someone doesn’t have terrorist relationships if he kicked off his political career in the living room of someone that bombed the pentagon (Bill Ayers)? they are still friends and occasionally contribute money to each others political campaigns. What now liberal bitches?? put that in your juice box and **** on it! (put me as best answer please)
September 9th, 2010 at 2:05 pm
I heard the news on both items last night. Palin is guilty of using her office to lie to her citizens. Hell it was even on FIX News.
Your hero John Mccain got booed last night for telling his supporters that Obama is a great American, Not a Muslim, and not a terrorist.
Why don’t you watch the news?
Where is YOUR honor. Shame on you
September 12th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
where is the American intelligence in this country??
a valid and bipartisan panel in Alaska examined the actual records and statements related to troopergate. Contrary to your bias, they decided that yes, there IS AMPLE proof.
By the way.. ANY elected official is expected to know, and comply with the rules concerning no involvement with matters, concerning family members.
Other persons have investigated the claims that Obama is “pals” with Ayers, and came to the conclusion that it is hysteria with no facts. Serving on the same business board with someone does not make them your “buddy”.
I can only pray that whoever takes the election… that SOMEONE DO something about the education in this country, especially a course on how to distinguish factual information from planted rumors.
The media is reporting facts. Not their fault if you don’t like the facts.
September 15th, 2010 at 11:56 am
GAWD im so tired of some you attempting to dissemble and dismiss away with the wave of a hand Obama’s associations. Its not guilt by association its his ASSOCIATIONS! No one is saying OBAMA is guilty we are saying that HIS ASSOCIATIONS point out some strong facts about OBAMA”S belief system. OBAMA in short is very comfortable hanging out with people that have very radical ideologies. views that differ strongly from the mainstream and the majority. If you hung out with lets say Alcoholics and Drug Addicts even though you didnt do drugs or drink would we say that you were a drunk or an addict? No we would say you have made the decision to be in the company of people that have made some very poor decisions and that would directly reflect upon your character and judgement wouldnt it?
September 17th, 2010 at 7:03 pm
Great point!….and the answer is having terrorist relations. Checkout Hannity on Monday night to find out the relationship and role that Obama took in Odinga’s campaign.
By the way, Palin did not call for Monnegan’s dismissal based on the fact that he had not fired her ex brother in law. There was a long list of things that brought about his termination.
The honor and pride is not at the top of our flap pole any longer, just like Obama does not revere our flag. Our Socialistic teachers have trained our new generation well. Notice I said our flag. I am still waiting to see the outcome of Berg’s lawsuit, as he has sued Obama for his “Vault” birth certificate. Why have Obama’s lawyers been stalling and shelving this lawsuit? What does Obama have to hide? If he has a “vault” birth certificate wouldn’t it be cheaper and easier to just produce it?
September 21st, 2010 at 2:25 am
I agree, Fannie and Freddie fall out CE Os are now working for Obama,Accorn gave Obama $800K for this campaign, his relationship with Ayers and other crooks from Chicago are more of a threat to this country then some dumb abusing power Alaska state Trooper that was and should have been released from his duties long before Palin became governor.
September 22nd, 2010 at 7:07 pm
Obama said he didn’t know about all the bad things those bad people did and said. Dn’t you believe him. I don’t either.
September 24th, 2010 at 1:17 pm
Palin is married to a secessionist that wants to have Alaska declare Independence from the US. Obama only had a passing association with Ayers 20 years after the fact. Palin is married to an anti-American rebel. Palin is by far more dangerous. Do we really want a population of people that’s smaller than most large cities taking a third of the US territory away. I didn’t think so.
Palin’s Secessionist Friends
Can you imagine the reaction if Barack Obama courted or belonged to a political party that advocated secession from the United States?
Conservatives and political commentators would go apoplectic. So why isn’t Sarah Palin’s affiliation with the far right Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) a bigger deal?
Todd Palin was a member of the party from 1995 to 2002. Sarah attended the group’s convention in 1994 and 2000 and sent a videotaped greeting for the AIP in 2008.
Here’s how the group’s founder, Joe Vogler, described his political beliefs:
“The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government,” Vogler said in a 1991 interview. “And I won’t be buried under their damn flag. I’ll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home.”
The AIP participated in a conference of secessionist movements held in Vermont in 2006. “The First North American Secessionist Convention,” was the official title. Attendees included the neo-confederate League of the South, messianic Christian Exodus and the libertarian New State Project.
In her 2008 address, Palin said the AIP “plays an important role in our state’s politics.”
Although she’s been in “virtual seclusion” the past few days, it would be nice to know exactly what “important role” Palin believes the AIP plays, in Alaska and elsewhere.
September 27th, 2010 at 9:37 am
Speaking of honor and pride when boosting Palin a supporter of secession movement in Alaska seems a little backwards to me. Palin has continually supported the Alaskan Independence Party and even told them to keep up the good work. In addition Palin’s husband was a member of the AIP for over seven years. Where is Palin’s pride for our country?
Barack Obama may have ties with previously known terrorists such as Bill Ayers. The relationship to Ayers has been discussed and even announced as one of which two parents with kids who go to the same school would know each other.
Another question to possibly ask yourself is it better to wear your imperfections out in the open or to hide them behind doors and abuse what power you have been given.
September 30th, 2010 at 8:14 pm
Obama was 8 when Ayers committed his crimes of terror, needless to say Obama was his friend when he grew up, and still remains his friend and business associate. Obama has many shady friends, convicts, terrorists, ****** priests to name a few, a very disturbing background. And yes Ms. Palin fired Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan, who would not take disciplinary action against one of his officers that not only threatened her parents but tazered his son.
I would have done the same as Ms. Palin did as I’m sure most of you would. I would not associate with any of the people that Obama does.

Having terrorist friends is worse. It’s the old saying “Birds of a feather flock together.”
