Can the EPEC be equivalent to a Relevant Residency Status in Singapore?

I have an EPEC, most job vacancies online requires that applicants be a Singaporean PR or holder of a relevant residency status in Singapore, will the EPEC be later made equivalent to a relevant residency status in Singapore?

Thank you.

    Don’t think so.

  2. Alan Ho Says:

From the MOM website: “The Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate (EPEC) is for foreigners who wish to have some time to look for a job in Singapore. The EPEC grants the holder up to a 1-year Social Visit Pass (SVP). The EPEC is issued on a one-time basis and is non-renewable.”

So the answer is that it is not equivalent to a PR status. In fact, it’s not even equivalent to an individual with a E Pass or S Pass permit
