Dear Television Advertisers,
I do not get to see your advertisements… therefore, I probably haven’t bought your revolutionary new product.
“Why is that?” I hear you asking…
Well, when I hear the words “Britney” or “Paris” or “new reality show” – I simply pick up the remote and turn off my TV for the rest of the day.
I am part of a growing movement of concerned citizens that has begun to fight back against ignorance and uselessness in American media…
In fact, I know a couple who just chucked their entire entertainment system… it went into the garbage.
There are more of us every day.
If you want to reach us as consumers you must do the following:
1. Create products that benefit us.
2. Make your products in the USA to provide jobs.
3. Demand advertising spots in valuable, intelligent programs that benefit society.
Thank You.
Answerers – would you like to say something to the media and it’s advertisers as well?

people are so concerned with paris and britney that they are not educated about whats going on in the rest of the world, which is really sad if you ask me.

Everyone needs a job, not just Americans. There is no fixed number of jobs we are competing for.
Entertainment is just that…we can’t be serious all the time. It causes people to become wrinkled and prematurely crotchety.
Your numbers aren’t growing. There has always been and always will be people like you who can’t loosen up and laugh at the occasional celebrity gaff.
For the record, I didn’t think Britney’s VMA performance was bad. Paris was unfairly prosecuted for being white, skinny and rich.

Britney is a NON-Player. Her talent and “looks” are on par with her parenting skills and overall intelligence. Non existent.
Paris is a pig with lipstick. A **** ****. ‘Nuff said.
I do applaud you for your skill with the TV remote. And yes: there are more of us every day. Sooner or later, Holly-weird will figure that out. I pray it is “sooner”.

Dear Network Executive,
I have come to the realization that your organization is actively conspiring to dumb down our society. Your television shows indoctrinate our youth. Your new programs misinform, promote fear and tell us that war is the only solution. Your advertising uses subliminal controlling techniques to get us to buy things we don’t need.
In order to do my part to stop your organzition from accomplishing its goals, I have started a campaign in my community to boycott your network and the other networks that share your goals. Hopefully, the idea of my grassroots campaign will spread in such a way that your networks will lose even more viewers and credibility than it already has.
Thank you,
Former Viewer
