I would bet my house on the first place said country would turn to would be the European Parliament in Brussels and make a desperate plea for help, the EU must stick together in times like that.

   Beats me. Last time I checked Britain was our closest ally.

   Also, I could care less what they think.

   Who do you think Euro countries would come to if they were attacked by another nation?
