Hi,

I’m looking for a good, reliable PR company for a single press release in the pets/animals industry. Does anyone know about one?

Our budget is limited, so we prefer to use it on one good PR company, which will do the job, than use it all those Online PR services which are cheaper, but we don’t sure how good they are.

We are located in NYC.

Thanks,

Ori.

It’s one thing to say things need to change, it’s another to take steps towards doing it. What have you done to promote awareness?
I was the public relations officer for our campus *** and ******* student organization. I am a member of my city’s transgender support group. I’ve helped organize the candlelight vigil for the transgender Day of Remembrance, our campus *** and ******* organization participated in the red ribbon campaign, and tomorrow we are participating in the the Day of Silence. I’ve given speeches on my campus to the sociology department, human sexuality classes, and speech classes regarding transsexuality. I’m also a member of the Stonewall Democrats that lobbied here in Texas for people to vote “NO” on the proposal to ban *** marriage in Texas. (Unfortunately, they passed the bill anyway). So, what have you done to support the GLBT cause?

This is in relation to a uni debate I had earlier this week and I cant get it out of my head!

Why can it be said we live in a world of media- in relation to societies and modes of communication?
And what is meant by the term “media” to warrant such a description?

Thankyou for any thoughts!

I’ve just graduated with a degree in English (useless). Now I am trying to pursue a career in PR/Marketing. I am just curious what sorts of programs, skills, will be most beneficial in being successful. What sorts of affordable classes should/can I take to help me learn the ropes?

Any/all advice would be helpful.
