is the presidency no more than a continual public relation campaign? Your day would be less than productive if you conducted it like our president does. Of course he has the benefit and luxury of an active staff, but it cost us the tax payers unnecessary expense and misuse of valuable time. In the slow grind of government and justice, time means everything. In war it is he who gets there the fastest with the most-est that wins the battles and the wars!

i am going to be applying in a year or two, and i need some advice!

i really think that marketing and communications are my best fit, and i need to know the best school that offers it!!

I’ll be getting two degrees (three majors) in December, in journalism, political science and cultural anthropology. I want to work as a reporter for a newspaper or in politics as a media relations person.

I will have three internships under my belt, one with a newspaper and two doing political campaign media relations work.

I would really like to have something lined up by August, when I start my final semester, so I can know where I’m moving to (I have whole house and three kids to move and we’re not staying in-state) before I actually graduate. Is this a realistic expectation? Would a newspaper or PR firm agree to hire someone who couldn’t start for 5 months?


I am applying to grad school and one of the requirements for the Media program I am interested is a minimum of 12 credits in a communications area. I have taken two mkt courses..does that count?
