I am a big people person and I have intended damn near every job that involves helping people ..

human resources .. social worker .. teacher .. psychologist .. counselor

now I’m on to Public Relations and I think I want to stay here ..
it’s to my understanding that someone with this degree would plan events for work? or maybe even be a trainer for new employees .. she sounded like she wasn’t sure what I’d be doing really ..

anyway I’m the typical Aries .. bossy .. friendly .. energetic .. optimistic .. low on patience .. with that being said, any suggestions for my career of choice? I’m a sophmore in college so I got time but still …
the reason she didnt know is because she’s an academic advisor, she didnt work in the communications department. ANYWAY also does anyone know the diff between Public Relations and Public Administration?

I work for a public relations firm in Boston am am trying to locate a halloween costume historian to help me write an article of the history of halloween costumes. I am thinking about going into the field of public relations and would like to know what kind of job I will have once I get out of college.

I think I’ve basically become a loser, but my friends say its not my fault…. some anonymous yahoo input might do me some good. Here’s my story:

I’m from Long Island, I graduated college last May and wanted to get into investor relations down on Wall St. Instead of working right away, I decided to take some time off and go backpacking through Europe. The economy crashed while I was abroad, and now that I’m back (been home since October), I haven’t been able to find work. So now I’m basically unemployed and living at home.

So the question remains: Am I now an official loser?

Plus, I am breaking up with my boyfriend of 4 years and I really need to get far away from him. It hurts too much.
