I want to major in either Communications or Journalism, and start a Public Relations career in the fashion industry in LA.
What are some good colleges to look into? I want to avoid going to a fashion school just in case I decide to branch out in a different direction later in life, but for right now the fashion industry is where I’m determined to be.
What colleges would you recommend? I’m leaning towards a small school right now, and was thinking about Biola University. What do you think? Give reasons for your opinions, thank you!

Fpr the same reason you’re avoiding fashion schools, avoid PR majors. Top PR people do not study PR in college. The top agencies hire people from the top colleges. Go to the best college you can get into.

UCLA and USC are great schools but might be larger than what you want. You can try looking into the Claremont schools which are close to LA ( Pomona and Claremont McKenna ). They’re small liberal arts colleges but they offer a fantastic undergraduate education.
Also, look into Occidental College and Pepperdine, both small schools as well.
