I am a recent college grad and I have been trying to find an entry level PR job. I have had an internship, and I was a member of PRSSA. So what’s the deal? Is it really who you know and not what you know?

I am a college sophomore studying Public Relations and although I consider myself an excellent writer, an outgoing person and extremely creative, I am not the best public speaker. I know those in P.R. are often required to address the press but is having a fear a public speaking enough of a reason to change my career path? I’m articulate but I have the hardest time not sounding like a fumbling mess when adressing a crowd. THANKS!

I have a passion for sports, but I am not an athlete and hopefully one day I would be able to work for the NFL, NBA, or ESPN, what kind of careers would I be able to pursue in the sports field with a major in Communications or Public Relations?

I’m interested in studying Public Relations or just majoring in communications, I live in PA and want to know what the best schools would be for this particular major. Thanks.

I just became interested in a career in public relations. I’d like to know how long does it take to recive a degree in public relations or journalism?? which of the two I’d better off taking? Approximately the yearly earn of a pr specialist & also the basics of the job… Thanks!

if you know of any colleges? or what i should major in?

I have been out of school for 4 years and I have no PR experience. Any advice or resources are greatly appreciated. Please note that I have already tried careerbuilder, monster, craigslist, hotjobs and indeed and most other job search websites. I am more so looking for insider information.

I’m in the process of getting in a degree in Public Relations and I would love to work in the music industry like for a record label or a band or something. I was wondering about kinds of jobs that I should look into, and is it hard to get these jobs?
