I Have to decide between St. Mary’s and San Jose. BOth in the Bay area and linked toa popular area that my major appeals to. However what isa better school, such as what school would give me more of an high end job out of college? What school would people look at more for hiring?

Also, can you get a degree in public relations and be qualified for a career in media relations?

I am doing a research paper for my Communications class and I was just interested in some cases or issues with major companies that I may not be thinking of in which they had to use PR to “fix themselves”.

For example: Firestone tires blowing up, McDonalds being outed by the documentary “Super Size Me.”

I’m in need of someone who works in public relations right now: anyone that works at: a newspaper, magazine, radio, advertising, etc. ~ Anything that is in public relations would be fine.
